Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age fourteen. She trained in boxing kickboxing wrestling, and BJJ. She made her debut as an amateur at the age of 18 at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd became more confident after the win and fought 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her adversaries were defeated all by the start of the round. She went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia B beghian and Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia gave Aspen the win in a single-handed manner and beat her in a match that tarnished Ladd's amateur career. Ladd was victorious in her subsequent bout in a fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to a record of 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in 2015 when she signed to Invicta FC. Invicta eleven saw Aspen take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score a TKO in the first round. She won her next fight in the ring against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission, and then moved up to bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen employed the strong skills she had learned in wrestling to take on McGill. She won the fight with a TKO (3rd round) (elbows, punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18, which was catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen dominated Hoy and defeated her in the second round by KO. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her final fight in the organization. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks with a majority decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She took on Linalansberg in UFC Fight Night 118. She dominated Lina through her ground and pound tactics, resulting in a TKO second round victory. In her next fight, she beat Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd defeated Evinger in the opening round, and was awarded a performance of the night bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos anjos-lee fight with Eubanks of Sijara, was the first fight she had in any major role. Ladd, who won the unanimous decision after some great exchanges among the pair of fighters, was awarded her Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her streak of winning. Yana Knitskaya fell in the third at UFC 7.7 on ESPN. In her recent fight for the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
