Katheryn Winnick, a Canadian producer, director, and actress played the lead actor in Vikings. The TV show was made by MGM/The History Channel. It received critical praise and Emmy awards. Winnick was also the director of an episode of Vikings in the year 2020. Entertainment Weekly said that "Lagertha" was the "most interesting female character in television." In addition to the Women's Image Network Award in 2018, for Best Actress on an TV Series, she has been nominated for numerous other prestigious awards, for example, the Critic's Best Award in 2017 to be the best Supporting Actress and the Canadian Screen Award in 2014 for the Best Performance by a lead Dramatic Actress.
