Salma Hayek

SalmaSalma Hayek Pinault (born Salma Valgarma Hayek-Jimmyenez on September 2, 1966)[3][4][5]), is an American and Mexican actress. In Mexico, she began her career by playing the character of Teresa in the television series (1989-1991) as well as El Callejon de los Milagros (1995), where she received an Ariel Award. From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999), Dogma (1999) and Desperado (1995) were just among her many Hollywood credits. Hayek's portrayal of painter Frida Kahlo in the biographical film Frida (2002), which she also directed she became the first Mexican actress to be recognized for the Academy Award for Best Actress[6as well as earning her Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild Award and British Academy Film Award nominations. In subsequent years, Hayek focused more on filmmaking while also appearing in action-oriented movies like Once Upon a Time in Mexico
